Prenatal Orientation

Come visit our office and meet the providers, staff, tour our facility and ask any questions that you may have. Please call our scheduling department at 678-583-5437 to make an appointment.

We love seeing newborns in our practice! When you deliver at Henry Medical Center, please let the attending nurse know that Locust Grove Pediatrics will be your pediatrician.

Effective July 29, 2009, our office will not be making rounds at Southern Regional Medical Center. If you deliver at Southern Regional Medical Center, you have the option of seeing a doctor on call for the newborn exam after birth.

The provider on call will fully examine your baby before he / she leaves the hospital. They will also stop by their room and introduce themselves and let you know how they feel the visit went with your newborn.

Notify your HR Department once your baby is born. You must request that your newborn is added to your insurance policy. Initial coverage under the insured parent is only good for the first 30 days after the child is born.

All well child exams and physicals are performed by appointment only. Schedule your child’s exam in advance to make sure they stay on schedule. Please be aware that June, July and August are very busy due to back to school exams.

Our telephone lines open at 8:30 AM Monday through Friday. Please call as early as you can to ensure a same-day appointment for your child. In most cases, your appointment will be scheduled with the provider that is first available. Due to the personal, focused care that we want to provide for each child, walk-ins are very strongly discouraged.
